Exhibition Summary:

CPUT is at the forefront of nanosatellite development in the region and internationally.  Nanosatellite technology has disrupted and revolutionised the space industry in terms of applications and global participation.  CPUT is developing its second nanosatellite that will be launched in May 2018.  ZACUBE-2 will carry payloads for vessel tracking, as well as veld fire detection.  On display will be models of our two satellites, ZACUBE-1 and ZACUBE-2, as well as a suite of radio systems that we have developed and are currently selling to the international nanosatellite community. The Programme is supported by the DST and its agencies.
