Programme overview

The event marked Africa’s second major “open science” forum, building on the success of similar gatherings held across the globe. The 2016 Forum programme featured 36 lively discussions and nearly 30 Science Talks, drawing over 2,000 participants from more than 60 countries. Close to 70 exhibitors from 24 countries also showcased their work.
